Ahhh Fall, my favorite time of year. It was busy and bountiful, full of friends, family, fun and any other wonderful "f" things we can think of. But alas, to quote a cliche', all good things must come to an end, and today is the first day of winter! So happy winter to all of you out there, the shortest day of the year, let's celebrate with a recap of all our "f"estivities, "f"easting and "f"abulous times, shaaaaaallll we? Roll film!
We feasted with our family and gave thanks for all of our blessings!
We also saved room for pie!!
This is my favorite Thanksgiving picture this year!
He looks like he just doesn't know what to think about all that fried turkey!
We deep fried a turkey for the first time this year. And I use the term "we" very loosely here...
Thanks to Brother Tony for the great outdoor shots!
We enjoyed our new toys!
We made nice with prehistoric creatures that move when you push their buttons...
We longed after cake...Sheesh Grandma, give a guy a break!
We blew out candles
We baked birthday cakes!
We made birthday blankets!
We grew!
Kelly does this every year with the kids on their birthdays.
We baked cupcakes for our friends at school
And licked the beaters too!
Wow, words escape me....
We showed off our dimples any chance we could...
We scored major amount of Halloween goodies.
We made our 3rd annual first pot of chili on Halloween night.
We trick-or-treated with our friends....from Oz.
We dressed up!
We decorated....
inside and out.
We found out that Maddie has superpowers....she can create wind and swirl leaves without even touching them! She looks like the "firestarter" girl...only we'll call her "Leafblower",HA!
Kavan is her apprentice, his skills are developing nicely don't you think?
We played in the HUGE leaf pile!
She flies too!!
Thanks for joining us this season! We're off to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ with our friends and family. We hope to see you all soon and we'll be back after the New Year! Please pray for our safe travels as we are doing much of that in the coming weeks. God's Blessings on your Christmas!!
